100 Stories of Social and Safety Awareness ebook Format eBook Makoto Shibutani

This is a great resource for working with your child. Each topic has one page, consisting of a simple black-and-white cartoon image and 1-2 sentences. On the facing page is a data chart where you can record progress. I recommend copying just a few stories that you are working on so that you can give them to the child to read, color, etc. This will also keep your data chart out of their hands, and give you an opportunity to edit the text before giving it to the child, if you like. Definitely not something you can read cover to cover, though.

I work as a behavior therapist and I saw my colleagues using this book for his clients, kids with Autism.
I immediately fell in love with it and bought it.
I always struggled drawing pictures when making a social story so this became so handy.
I like how it has a lot of stories.
Do my clients like it?
Absolutely! They love it!
I work with Children who have special needs, I find this book very handy when I teach my younger students about basic social skills. I love the progress monitoring chart at the back of the book, it is useful to keep track of all skill acquisitions.
My 6 year old Ethan loves this book! He reads it every morning before going to school. The materials help prime him for social situations.
It is not what I expected. Wished I would have been able to see sample pages from the book prior to purchasing. This will not work for the students I work with.
Very good for basic social skills and safety for children who struggle with understanding those skills and safety rules.
Each page has a picture and brief explanation of what is going on.
My clients love it.
Simple and clear for kids to understand social and safety rules.
simple and easy to use - the data checklist is very helpful
