Since I read Witchling grows up, I was so relieved I had this #2 in the series. I didn't think this story could get any better I was wrong. We met most of the main character in #1, so this book was like coming home, throw in some new characters& here is one amazing story.Mary manages to glide smoothly from #1 to #2, to this story.Which I found utterly amazing. Justice & Dylan are such living breathing characters you that they are real to you. I love the variety of paranormals in it.Each character is so well developed, Tan the dragon worries about being around vampires so much, Justice has to deal with keeping everything under control & getting Dylan.The story had everything suspense, friendship, l found myself not able to put the book down. Also some of the most amazing sex lol. You just have to read this....Mary Thank you for an amazing roller coaster ride...this is a 5+ stars book. Well done MaryProduct details

What a great read, Her Protector is not just about Dylan and Justice this time. We get to meet a bunch of new Witches and Vampires even some new dragons! So if you are a lover of paranormal romance this is a fantastic read! There are all kinds of exciting things are happening in this second book.
The story flowed great together, with as much that was going on between the characters in the last book and also the new ones we meet in this one, it all flowed nicely together.
I’d recommend reading it, If you have not read the first book I’d start with that one or you will be a bit confused as to what is going on in this one.
If you're into vampires, witches, dragons, angels, or any other supernatural creatures, this is the book for you! There is such variety in this book, and they all weave together effectively. The author's writing skill draws you in, and I couldn't stop reading. Something unique to this book is how well the different species of supernatural creatures work together to save Justice and his mate Dylan.
I fell in love with these characters, and they are well developed. I fell in love with their impromptu family and enjoyed the love scenes. After reading as long as I have it can be hard to find something original and and unique. I look forward to the next book and will definitely be buying it! )
When I began reading this book, I got really excited. I actually read the whole thing in less than a day!! For those of you who have read Mary’s previous books, all of her characters were there, along with a few new ones…it was like old home week. I loved how the witches and vampires worked together to help Justice save his mate Dylan, who was captured by the Dark One!!! There are good characters and really evil ones too. All kinds of exciting things are happening between the witches, vampires and even the dragons!!! Bravo Miss Mary for writing such a wonderful book…I highly recommend this series to those readers who like paranormal romances and even dragons!!! I can’t wait until the next book is released.
When I was reading this story I was immediately attached to it. It made me feel right at home. The love from family and friends was awesome. This is how I felt when I met her online I felt right at home. Mary made me fall in love all over again with her writing skills. The characters interact with each other through family and friends. It is very rare that you find a story with friendships, love, family and great sex. People from two different worlds come together to save another. The story is just breathtaking. When Mary writes her books they are always great. I just love her stories. Mry keep writing awesome books and I will keep buying. With his beloved Dylan in the hands of the Dark One Justice plots to get her back but it will take both witch's and vampires to do this. Thankful the Goddess has blessed this arrangement and the vampires join the witches at the Pendragon family home. Emma one the witches is soon butting heads with Justin one of the vampires but sparks are flying between them also will they give in to their feelings for each other and what will happen if they do.
A rescue of Dylan and the Fae Queen is mounted will they get them back and what will it cost them.
I loved the second book in this series and will do my best to patiently wait for the next book due in June.
So if you enjoy a good paranormal romance don't wait get reading now
If you love witches, vampires and even lovable dragons, you will love this book. This is the second book in a series that began with The Witchling Grows Up where we met most of the main characters. Her Protector continues the story and introduces new characters (some lovable, some not). Mary makes the continuation very smooth. The story is wonderful. She brings these characters to life. They become your friends or your enemies which ever the case may be. You find yourself eager to have vampires and witches find love with each other. You also find yourself routing these creatures on as they join together to save the Witchling even though some have never even met her. The first objective is to save the Witchling. The second is to unite the vampires and witches. Both objectives are being met. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this delightful series.
I'm a huge paranormal fan, so of course, buying this book was definitely on my TBR.
You will love this book! The thing about Her Protector is that it's so refreshing. The writing just draws you in, and for me, that's one of the best things! The writing is just so smooth and it flows!
Then the characters. I don't read a lot of books where it has a variety of paranormal characters all under one roof, if you get what I mean. We have vampires, but we also have witches and a dragon who doesn't seem too fond being around vampires. Mary makes it work though, and the fact that they're working towards a single goal makes putting them together work!
If you're into paranormal with a whole cluster of interesting and different twists, this book and its previous first are definitely a must-read for you! Five out of five stars!
